Rendez-vous in Fredericton
Held each year in a different city, the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences is the largest multidisciplinary academic gathering in Canada, attracting delegates from every province and territory and from around the world. The simplest way to describe Congress is that it is a meeting of meetings. It is also what makes it unique by creating a critical mass of more than 6,000 scholars, researchers and graduate students from a rich spectrum of social sciences and humanities disciplines.
Congress is organized by the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences in partnership local institutions. The Federation gratefully thanks the University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University for hosting Congress 2011. The Federation also extend its sincere thanks to Dr. Linda Kealey , Academic Convenor of Congress 2011.
Don’t miss the Big Thinking lectures @ Congress, featuring leading scholars, authors and leaders who will share their insight and take us on an exploration of peoples and places.
We look forward to see you in Fredericton from May 25 to June 4, 2011.
