Invitation to Congress 2011
The University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University are pleased to invite you to the 80th Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences taking place in Fredericton, 28 May to 4 June 2011. Our location in the picturesque St. John River Valley provides the ideal setting for our theme Coasts and Continents: Exploring People and Places. Situating Congress in Atlantic Canada gives us a unique opportunity to celebrate local, regional and national talent, while at the same time widening our scope to the global community and global issues. Congress 2011 promises to be a testament to Atlantic Canadian research, culture and hospitality and I, along with the UNB and STU communities, look forward to welcoming you to Fredericton next year.
